On Day 2, I pursued charms from the remaining four shops, Zandy’s, Coldwater Collaborative, Amazing Threads, and Needleworks Unlimited. The shops started to run out of charms and I missed them at Amazing Threads and Needleworks Unlimited. Unfortunately, this is going to mean a trip to Maple Grove, but on the plus side, I get to go back.

Zandy’s seemed to be unique in carrying Artist’s Jazz. I dropped the first charm they gave me there and they were kind enough to replace it. The lost one is probably in their shop, because I sure haven’t got it!
I did a lot of socializing at Coldwater Collaborative. First, I ran into Kelle and her two daughters. Check out the amazing kilt Kelle made for her teenager. She’s wearing it! It’s Intarsia and made with boucle! I can’t stop with the exclamation marks! My husband couldn’t get over the fact that the two younger women seemed to be willing participants and enjoying themselves.

Next I ran into Deb (duh!). I took a picture of her wearing a skull emblemed bandanna, but it was horrid and I couldn’t put it on the web. It would have been mean. I didn’t realize that she was the one doing the Bayerische socks. I would have asked her how they are going.

Finally, I also saw the CorgiMom also! She’s finally caught up on her Yarn Harlot trip postings. Quite the happening shop.

I continued to Amazing Threads, where I ran into Kelle again. It was a nice shop, but I was starting to get really tired. Especially with the mess around 100. Last, but hardly least, I went to Needleworks Unlimited where I ran into Christy digging through the taste of Koigu pile. I think I convinced her to buy a couple of whole skeins.

I thought the staff of the yarn shops were amazing, especially for being under siege all weekend! At the end of it I was pretty tired too and went off to Azia for my husband’s belated birthday dinner. He really worked hard all day driving while I navigated and was really fun all day. What a good sport for a guy who is allergic to wool!

When I finally have the complete set of charms, I will put the photo here.

Part three is about the other yarn shops I visited this weekend via the Knit Out and my Sunday knitting group.
