accomplishments

Too often I don’t give myself enough credit. Or any. I focus on what I haven’t done rather than what I have. I’m not as cynical as I was as a teenager, but…

And there it is. The little but that I really need to get rid of.

So here is my accomplishment of the (week/month/whatever).

Knitting: Sent off Earth Day Swap Package. I sent it internationally if that’s a hint to my partner.

Knitting: Knit 5″ of Juno Regina. (Since this is the accomplishment of the moment, I will NOT talk now about how I haven’t given you the photograph yet).

Personal: Lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 lbs in the last two weeks. My doctor decided a shock technique and it seems to have stuck a little. I can’t say I’m taking him up on his offer of actual medical help,  but I did take some of the advice. Definitely falls in the category of losing a ‘but.’

Work: Got my first photo credit in a professional newspaper. Not that I got paid, but they hopefully they will go a ways towards advertising the Farmers’ Market I’m working on. Got the Farmers’ Market listed on the county Convention & Visitors Association website. Learned some more management skills and conducted several interviews for my Community Facilities Assessment.

I will not tell you about having Oatmeal Cookies two days in a row or how they have refined sugar in them. I will not, will not tell you about the limitations of my work achievements this week.

Suffice it to say all is going well, possibly because it’s Friday.
