anniversary

Er, let’s pretend I posted this entry around May 26th and didn’t just discover it in my drafts folder.

Josh and I celebrated our 15th anniversary of being together and our 7th anniversary of being married by hanging out at the Oregon Coast this weekend in Manzanita. We sampled wine, checked out the cheese at both Blue Heron and Tillamook, walked along the beach, checked out the Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, watched taffy making, shopped and got very well fed at our B&B, which is just to the left of the black car parked on the left hand side of the road.

We saw some very fuzzy creatures at Blue Heron.

I went Coastal Yarns in Cannon Beach. They sell Socks That Rock and I bought this. I didn’t know that they sell Socks That Rock, but I thought they might given their sort of proximity to Scappoose.

I hate that I’m so busy these days. I never even got to post about this project while it was a work-in-progress. I suppose we could pretend though. Nah. Who am I to hold out like that?

I bought some Noro Silk Garden from the Yarn Shop on May 5th.

By the 12th, I had something that looked like this.

And by the 19th, I had something that looked like this. Now I just need to find some buttons.
